This book was launched on the 15th May 2000. The "Care of the Self" series of books are aimed at helping people manage difficult times. This book was written with Emergency Service Workers in mind, but is a useful volume for all who experience trauma in their lives. This book can be used as a reference, for reading, or as a workbook. It does not replace counselling, but is complimentary to it. |
A Wish Before Dying
A wish before dying is a book about life, stress, conflict, joy, happiness, families, pain and love. It is based on the belief that so many people die - wishing things had been different. This book encourages the reader to develop a resolve to confront the fear that making changes can bring, and then act. While Roger has been trained as a psychologist both here and overseas, this book is not only limited to his experience as a psychotherapist, but also as a soldier, a tax inspector, a husband and father of five children.
